The show has been on the road for some time (it previously played at the Fox Theatre), but this production parallels Simon and Garfunkel in that stars Jonah Bobo (Simon) and Brendan Jacob Smith (Garfunkel) are also school friends from New York. The next best thing, then, is “The Simon & Garfunkel Story,” a multi-media show paying tribute to the iconic duo via songs, visuals and some dialogue. Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel haven’t toured together since 2010 - and in the wake of strained relationships and Simon’s retirement from touring in 2018 it doesn’t seem likely to happen again.
